Reclaiming the Great Siege Monument

Share

Dear Fellow Maltese Citizens,

Today, I write to you with a sense of urgency and determination as we discuss the Great Siege Monument, a symbol of our nation’s history and resilience.

As many of you know, the Great Siege Monument, crafted by the talented sculptor Antonio Sciortino and unveiled on 8 May 1927, holds a special place in our hearts. It stands as a testament to the bravery and sacrifice of our ancestors during the Great Siege of Malta.

However, in recent years, this sacred monument has fallen into the hands of a group of extremists who have tarnished its significance. These individuals have defiled and disrespected the monument, turning it into a symbol of division and hatred.

But fear not, my fellow Maltese brothers and sisters, for the time has come to reclaim what is rightfully ours. We must unite and stand together to take back the Great Siege Monument from the grasp of these dangerous individuals. Join me in the Campaign “The Siege Monument is Ours” as we work towards restoring the monument to its rightful place of honor and respect.

I urge you to stay informed and engaged by following our blog. Here, you will find updates and information on our progress as we embark on this journey towards victory.

Together, we can show that unity triumphs over hatred. Let us stand strong and united in our mission to reclaim the Great Siege Monument.

Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication to our cause.
