🇺🇸 Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh has indicated that the use of American weapons in strikes on Russia’s Kursk oblast does not contradict U.S. policy. During a regular press briefing, Ms. Singh offered her thoughts on the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ operations in the Kursk region and their use of American weaponry.
Our policy does allow for Ukraine to conduct counter fires to defend itself from Russian attacks coming over that border region. And that border region does include Kursk,
 Sabrina Singh stated.
It would be remiss of us not to mention that the significant offensive action by Ukrainian forces in the Kursk oblast commenced on 6 August. The oblast is currently facing a challenging situation, with multiple rocket alerts issued. According to Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, 115,000 people have been relocated from areas along the border that have been deemed to be at risk.
