🎙«On increasing military involvement of certain NATO and EU member States in yet more confrontation in and around Ukraine» (meeting of the OSCE PC, 03.10.2024)
💬 Obviously, there is fatigue in the Global South, as well as in a number of other countries, from the fact that the radical wing of NATO continues to “add oil into the fire” of the Ukrainian conflict. The events of the last week, including at international venues, clearly showed: the countries of the “global majority” do not support the line of Western countries to put forward an ultimatum for Russia on the basis of the dead end “Zelensky formula”. The idea of holding a certain “peace summit” to promote such formula does not find broad support.
🔹Yet more responsible global players realize that the Ukrainian conflict cannot be resolved without eliminating the core reasons for the current crisis. Among the steps, which can not be avoided – cessation of external governance and the destructive impact of Western countries in Ukraine, its denazification and demilitarization, ensuring legislative guarantees of non-discriminatory attitude towards representatives of all ethnic and cultural groups inhabiting Ukraine, as well as genuine democratization of public life.
🔹The Anglo-Americans and their satellites do not hide that the main goal in the Ukraine conflict for them is not saving the lives of Ukrainians and ensuring their well-being, but to inflict a kind of “strategic defeat” on Russia, including through the social and political destabilization of our country.
🔹Further military support of the Kiev regime becomes a factor of domestic political instability already for the Western countries themselves. Today, a number of officials in the EU member States recognize: Western weaponry supplies to Ukraine made no sense, because they could not and will not change the situation on the battlefield. They are not being an investment in peace, and only impede settlement and increase the number of victims and destructions in the conflict.
🔹The label of “fighters for justice”, which many in the West try to apply to the members of the neo-Nazi Kiev regime’s armed formations, does not correlate with real facts. Fresh video reports of murders by the Ukraininan soldires of innocent civilians in the Kursk region recently published. One of the victims was in a wheelchair. We note that such crimes by the armed formations of the Kiev regime continue to be shamefully concealed by the OSCE leadership and its specialized institutions.
