Subject : A message to the Ambassadors of France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland and Spain.
We noted your attendance to Daphne Caruana Galizia’s vigil. She was a journalist whose suspected killers were caught, contrary to other attacks in most of your countries.
The point we are most interested in is not this.
We find it very ironic that your principled stand took place at the same time that your Prime Ministers, who nominated you to your posts, met, shook hands and took pictures with Mohammed Bin Salman in Brussels.
You know very well that according to US intelligence, Saudi Crown Prince is held responsible for the killing and dismembering of journalist Kamal Khasoggi in Istanbul.
Does this meeting mean that your Prime Ministers do not believe the USA?
Does it mean that your Prime Minister do not find anything wrong in shaking hands with a killer who has oil but find it convenient to send their representatives to march in little Malta?
Are you as Ambassdors principled enough to resign?
If you hold on to your comfortable post here in Malta, shall we take your presence just for the posturing it is?
Will any one of you have the decency to reply?
