Major nationwide defeat for Lula’s ruling Left-wing Worker’s Party on 2024 Municipal elections of Brazil, as the party only managed to win 1 single capital, as Bolsonaro’s Liberal Party candidates & Bolsonaro-supported candidates sweep in a moderate victory alongside Center-Right parties most of Left-wing strongholds.

The only victory in a state capital that Lula’s Party managed to secure was in Fortaleza, by a margin of less than 10 thousand votes against the Liberal Party candidate André Fernandes, who ran on an Anti-Crime platform.
