I mean, who wouldn’t want to be associated with such a prestigious platform, right?
And now, we have another gem – Dr. David Gonzi, who is definitely not related to anyone important, right?
I’m sure Dr. Lawrence Gonzi read the article, but hey, why confirm or deny anything, when you can just keep the mystery alive?

So, let me get this straight. The lawyer David Gonzi waltzes into the Malta Communications Authority, conveniently when his daddy is the Deputy Prime Minister. And what a surprise, he gets a nice little bump in salary within months of starting. Fast forward to when his dear old dad becomes the Prime Minister, and suddenly David is now the Senior Legal Advisor, raking in €23,000 a year as from 2005. Must be nice to have such a successful career trajectory in just three short years, huh?
In 2006, Dr. David Gonzi resigns from his position, but not before enjoying all the perks like health insurance, mobile phone, and internet paid for by the Authority. Then, he conveniently starts his own company and lands government contracts worth €30,000, all while daddy Lawrence Gonzi is running the show.
And to top it all off, the Office of the Prime Minister ends up doing business with the same company. Well, isn’t that just a lovely little family affair we had going on here?
Classic move, Dr. Gonzi, classic move.
