I am writing to express my absolute disgust at the recent accusations made by the PN regarding the Labour Party’s supposed exploitation of Karl Gouder’s tragic death for political gain. It is beyond infuriating to witness such baseless claims being thrown around, especially when the true culprits of using Karl Gouder for their own agendas lie within the PN itself.
Bernard Grech’s actions in betraying the confidentiality of a private conversation by reporting it to the police are despicable and demonstrate a complete lack of integrity and respect. Anyone who stoops to such levels does not deserve to hold any position of power, let alone be involved in politics.
The PN’s history of exploiting Karl Gouder during his life is a shameful display of their lack of ethics and decency. They burdened him with responsibilities he was not equipped to handle, all in the name of their own selfish interests. Where were they when Karl was struggling? Where was their compassion and support?
Even in death, the PN continues to use Karl Gouder as a pawn in their political games. To portray him as a hero after his tragic suicide is not only disrespectful to his memory but also an insult to those who fight against their own demons every day without giving in. The PN’s actions in sensationalizing his death for their own gain are despicable and show a complete disregard for human dignity.
I stand in solidarity with the Prime Minister against the tax evader Bernard Grech that Karl Gouder was manipulated into trying to trap. It is time for the PN to take responsibility for their actions and stop using tragedies for their own political agendas.
