The recent events unfolding in our country have left me both shocked and appalled. The sense of entitlement displayed by certain individuals is unprecedented, and it is clear that part of the blame lies with the Labour Party for allowing this behavior to go unchecked for far too long.
The messages being sent to Labour supporters to remain silent and passive have only served to embolden those who believe they are above the law. It is time for us to take a stand and show that no one is above accountability, not even Daphne’s clique.
Occupy Justice’s assertion that they have the right to protest while denying us that same right is not only hypocritical but also deeply troubling. Their continued attacks on journalists, even years after the tragic death of Daphne Caruana Galizia, are unacceptable and must be met with a strong and unified response.
I urge you to join me in making our voices heard and standing up for what is right. Let us show Occupy Justice that the people of Malta will not be silenced, and that the Siege Monument belongs to all of us.
It is time to demand answers from Occupy Justice. Who are they? Who do they truly represent? We cannot allow their actions to go unchallenged any longer.
