Concerns Regarding Magistrate Elaine Rizzo Mercieca Hearing Drug Cases

Nationwide concern over the recent revelations regarding Magistrate Elaine Rizzo Mercieca and her brother Kurt Rizzo.

It has come to light that Kurt Rizzo, a policeman and private security with Roberta Metsola, was found to be positive for cocaine and is suspected of passing information to drug traffickers.

What is even more alarming is the fact that Magistrate Elaine Rizzo Mercieca is the sister of Kurt Rizzo and is responsible for hearing drug trafficking cases. This raises serious questions about the integrity and impartiality of the judicial system.

How can we trust that justice will be served when there is a clear conflict of interest at play?

It is absolutely unacceptable that someone with such close ties to a criminal element is presiding over cases that directly involve drug trafficking. The very foundation of our legal system is at stake here.

Magistrate Elaine Rizzo Mercieca’s continued involvement in these cases is a blatant disregard for the principles of justice and fairness.

I urge the competent authorities to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure that Magistrate Elaine Rizzo Mercieca is removed from hearing drug cases. The public’s trust in the judiciary is at risk, and it is imperative that steps are taken to restore faith in the legal system.

The trust in our courts has long been gone , since Eddie Fenech Adami was prim minister and than made himself president and when the legal system was in the hands of the Ugo family , Chief justice , Minister and anything that concerns justice , presidential pardons and released after being sentenced to drug trafficers example QUIEROS , it’s a household name in Malta . everybody was shocked with his release and the v.i.p. treatment to be sent to his country and there was a run away while escourted by the police , all this while the rule of law was at it’s best in Malta
