I am writing to express my frustration over the lack of accountability in the recent scandals involving architect Toni Bezzina. This is the third significant controversy, following his role in sending government workers to the PN club in Żurrieq and a questionable application for an ODZ villa under Mdina.
Despite these issues, there has been no call for a Magisterial inquiry. How can Bezzina avoid repercussions for not showing up to work while still receiving payments? This represents a clear abuse of power and breach of public trust.
While inquiries are swiftly initiated against Labour party actions, there seems to be reluctance in holding Bezzina accountable. This double standard is unacceptable.
