I couldn’t help but chuckle when I heard about the Nationalist Party’s dramatic vow to go to war if the prime minister dares to “manipulate” the 17 Black inquiry. What a club of clowns, indeed!
It’s quite amusing how the PN seems to be the only one who could possibly benefit from any manipulation of this inquiry. I mean, what could they possibly be so afraid of that they feel the need to make such grandiose threats?
It’s almost as if they’re trying to divert attention away from their own skeletons in the closet by creating a spectacle out of the inquiry.
May we remind the Nationalist Party is just a haven for tax dodgers. From Bernard Grech to Adrian Delia, and even Daphne Caruana Galizia with her hefty unpaid taxes, the list of offenders within the PN seems endless.
And let’s not overlook the likes of Austin Gatt, who was caught red-handed by the Tax Compliance Unit for tax evasion. The mere mention of a Swiss account at UBS only adds to the mounting evidence of financial misconduct within the party.
