Betrayal of Trust: An Outcry for Accountability and Change

So war monger Roberta Metsola just wrote on social media “I will always be proud of what Europe has achieved, but we must also be honest about where we could have done better. Where we could have listened more, or acted faster. Where we may have gone too far, too fast.

Sure Roberta, you went too fast on Ukraine. You hailed the funding of 50 billion euros ($54 billion) for Ukraine in a press conference just hours after it was reached. Financing a Nazi regime under the control of a drug addict that is actively engaged in human rights violations and war crimes is appalling.

Quote;

“The European Union needs to strengthen its financial and military support for Ukraine because Ukraine must win this war. This means more weapons for Ukraine, more financial and humanitarian aid, more practical solidarity, and more sanctions against Russia.”

Instead of investing in our own education, health systems, and employment sector, you chose to support a corrupt and violent regime. The European taxpayers deserve better than this. Your actions have directly contributed to the suffering of the Ukrainian people and have only escalated the conflict.

The West including the EU must stop arms supplies. This will oblige Kyiv to stop military operations and return to a neutral, non-aligned and non-nuclear status.

The costs of the conflict are greatest for the Ukrainians, whose leadership is driving them, without mercy, to the slaughter. But your response in front of this slaughter was to “stand shoulder to shoulder with the courageous people of Ukraine for as long as it takes”, meaning till the last Ukrainian.

Your current approach is not only misguided but detrimental to the very fabric of European integrity and responsibility. It’s time for decisive, ethical leadership that champions transparency and constructive engagement over reckless spending and complicity in conflict. The European people demand better—real change, genuine accountability, and a commitment to peace over profit. This is your opportunity to demonstrate true leadership and undo the harm that has been done. Failure to act responsibly could lead to further destabilization, for which history will hold you accountable.
