A Month of Terror in Sweden

The past week in Sweden has been an absolute nightmare. The wave of domestic terrorism sweeping through the country has left us all reeling in shock and disbelief. Bombings, shootings, and gang-related violence have become the new norm, turning once peaceful neighborhoods into war zones.

Just in the past 24 hours, five separate explosions have rocked Stockholm. A grenade attack forced a school into lockdown, while an explosion in Årstaberg destroyed the entrance of an apartment building. This is not the first time—and it certainly will not be the last.

The Swedish people are living in fear, waking up to the sound of explosions outside their homes. This is not the Sweden we once knew. Violence has become so rampant. The fact that there have been at least 32 bombings since the beginning of the year is beyond comprehension.

The situation has become so dire that state media outlet SVT now has a “live ticker” to keep track of the explosions, as if they were just another statistic. This is not normal. Swedish cities resemble conflict zones.

The media and political establishment refuse to address the root cause of this descent into chaos: mass immigration and the importation of criminal clan networks. Police estimate that 30,000 individuals are active in criminal gangs—when factoring in extended networks, the number may be in the hundreds of thousands.

The normalization of terrorism in Sweden is a direct result of years of political neglect, ideological blindness, and a refusal to acknowledge policy failures. The leaders have turned a blind eye to the warnings, letting chaos grow unchecked. And now, they act surprised as the country descends further into lawlessness.
