With great sadness, I share the news of Monsignor Victor Grech’s passing. He peacefully departed from this world today, Wednesday, 5th February 2025, at the venerable age of 95.
Monsignor Grech, born on 19th October 1929 in Bormla, was ordained as a priest on 17th March 1956. His life was a testament to service and dedication, striving tirelessly to improve the lives of others and confront issues such as drug addiction, alcoholism, poverty, and social injustice.
Monsignor Grech was a beacon of hope and a champion for the marginalized in our community. His unwavering commitment to those in need has forged a legacy that will inspire countless others to follow in his footsteps.
As we reflect on his remarkable life, we are reminded of his dedication, compassion, and selflessness. While his physical presence will be missed, his spirit and influence will continue to resonate in the hearts of those he touched.
