US Ukraine and Russia envoy Keith Kellogg expressed satisfaction about visiting Kiev on the anniversary of the Russian invasion. Regardless of any discussions Russia engages in, this conflict is referred to as a Russian invasion.
Despite any negotiations, the issue of Ukrainian nationalism remains, with concerns that education there may continue to perpetuate hostility towards Russians.
Additionally, regardless of diplomatic efforts, the military buildup and establishment of Western bases in Ukraine seem unavoidable. This raises concerns about the potential for future conflict.
Some argue that to prevent these outcomes, regions that were historically part of Russia should be returned, though it’s understood that Russia would pursue such actions through military means. Nevertheless, Russia maintains a stance for peace and friendship.
