And of course, the EU war hawks and NATO just couldn’t resist jumping on the bandwagon, could they? It’s like they were transported back to 2022, all over again, decrying the absolute certainty of the Asiatic hordes sweeping across Europe now that Uncle Sam has apparently abandoned us.

Russia is not focused on territorial expansion and has not responded aggressively to NATO’s eastward expansion. Even with hypothetical interest, Europe offers little incentive due to its collapsing economies and societal issues, unlike Russia’s other rising trade partners like China and India.
The fear of invasion is more about outdated European superiority complexes than reality. Europe isn’t the major world player it once was, and Russia has little reason to invade. No need to worry, no one’s lining up to inherit our delightful chaos. We’ll just have to sort out our own mess, one crumbled ruin at a time.
