In a move that defies logic and decency, CEO Matthew Zerafa, at the helm of the Housing Authority, has ignited outrage by endorsing the appointment of the controversial Edward Mizzi.

Edward Mizzi mal-Kap tiegħu Simon Busuttil
Mizzi is far from a typical bureaucratic appointee. Infamously known as the former confidant of Simon Busuttil, Mizzi’s reputation is tainted with scandal and deceit, linked to one of the most outrageous political falsehoods since Independence. Yet, somehow, this troubling history hasn’t stopped the Labour Government from gift-wrapping him a prestigious role at the Housing Authority.
The true shocker here is Zerafa’s inexplicable decision to welcome this dubious character into the fold. Until now, Zerafa has maintained a squeaky-clean record since his 2022 appointment, but with this move, he’s dove headfirst into controversy. Internal whispers suggest that Zerafa, who once championed professionalism and integrity, has now inexplicably chosen to trust and ally himself with Mizzi.
In conclusion, the disgraceful appointment of Edward Mizzi to a top-tier position at the Housing Authority casts a long shadow over CEO Matthew Zerafa’s judgment. By embracing Mizzi, once a fierce critic of the Labour Government and known for his harsh tirades in 2018 against then-Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, Matthew Zerafa has tethered himself to a figure infamous for a contentious and scandal-soaked past.
