In a scandalous revelation, the financial dealings of Pawlu Pace from the Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses (MUMN) have come under fierce scrutiny.

Starting in 2012, Pace allegedly pocketed €10,028 in overtime and €4,393 in on-call allowances, setting a concerning precedent for the years to come. The following years only widened this financial scandal:
– 2013: €9,300 in overtime and a staggering €7,832 for on-call duties.
– 2014 saw a bump to €11,020 in overtime coupled with €7,843 in on-call.
– In 2015, his earnings rose to €11,833 for overtime, paired with €8,397 collected for on-call shifts.
– The year 2016 followed suit with a further increase to €12,694 in overtime and €8,640 in on-call allowances.
– 2017 skyrocketed to an outrageous €26,389 in overtime and €9,989 for on-call work allegedly never rendered.
Despite the supposed hollow work claims, the payments didn’t cease:
– 2018 brought in €16,633 in overtime and €10,361 in on-call.
– 2019: €16,713 awarded for overtime, alongside €10,357 in on-call.
– An eye-watering €22,451 in 2020 credited towards overtime and €10,388 for on-call payments.
– 2021 and 2022 kept the consistency of these generous payouts with €20,646 and €21,387 in overtime respectively, plus over €10,700 for on-call in both years.
