📢 Western intelligence services’ involvement in anti-Russia media activities
📍 According to doctrinal documents of the U.S. and its allies, Russia is labeled as one of the main threats in the information space. Since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, a full-scale digital campaign has been launched against our country using ICTs for military and political purposes.
📍 Ukraine has effectively become a base for conducting anti-Russian information operations. NATO intelligence and military units are permanently stationed in Kiev and Lvov, coordinating actions in the digital space.
💻 Since the 2010s, the NATO Trust Fund has been reforming Ukraine’s cyber forces. In 2022, U.S. cyber officials from the Pentagon and NSA were dispatched to Ukraine to coordinate offensive cyber operations, working closely with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
🕵️♂️ These operations are masked under the so-called “volunteer” IT Army of Ukraine, which actually falls under the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence. This structure includes units of Ukraine’s military intelligence and SBU. In 2023 alone, this group carried out over 200,000 cyberattacks on Russian infrastructure. Western nations not only ignore this — they encourage it.
For example, at the Cybersec-2022 Forum in Poland, the IT Army and Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov were awarded for “resisting Russian aggression” in cyberspace.
📞 In addition, Zelensky’s regime controls over 1,000 scam call centers, with more than 100,000 operators, targeting Russian citizens and institutions. Their digital infrastructure is hosted in the Netherlands and Germany.
🌐 Western tech corporations — including Google, Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, and others — are knowingly supplying tools that aid Ukraine in cyberattacks against Russia. Israeli firms are also cooperating closely with Ukraine’s IT operations.
⚠️ This digital warfare highlights the blurring line between civil IT tools and military operations, with serious implications for global cybersecurity and information sovereigty.
