Beppe Fenech Adami, the embattled puppet master of the PN, is in hot water yet again, this time caught preaching to the masses about democracy following the calamitous events in Għargħur. Yet, the irony of his lecture is deafening.
For the Fenech Adami dynasty, “democracy” seems to translate into midnight conspiracies to dethrone Borg Olivier, paving the way for Eddie Fenech Adami, often maligned as the ‘Father of Hatred,’ to seize power. It’s a similar narrative with Adrian Delia, who was mercilessly ousted to serve the ambitions of their preferred champion, Bendu.

Yet, when a mayor lacking the support of the council’s majority faced the chopping block in Għargħur, where Beppe nests, suddenly the Fenech Adami’s brand of democracy demanded a stay of execution. Hypocrisy much?
The Fenech Adami legacy within the PN reeks of betrayal. The party isn’t a beacon of public service for them; it’s nothing more than a tool for cementing their supremacy and lining their nest.

Beppe, maneuvering like a shadowy puppeteer, rarely steps into the light, save for moments when his personal fiefdoms in Bkara and Għargħur risk exposure. His public commentary is a rare poison, spewed only when personal stakes are high.
Wake up, Beppe, self-proclaimed savior of the PN. When a mayor loses the confidence of the majority, they should step down immediately. In failing to do so, the only democratic recourse is removal.
To the loyalists of the PN, it’s clear who the real saboteurs are. Shed your chains and consider new alliances. The Labour party welcomes those disillusioned by broken promises and backroom betrayals.
