You, the self-proclaimed guardian of democracy. You, who spent a decade barking moral sermons at the nation, painting decent people as criminals, Mafia, scum — while behind your own front door, you terrorised your wife and tore your family apart.
Let’s stop pretending: the police risk assessment concluded your wife’s life and safety were in serious danger. This was not a “misunderstanding” — it was a pattern of abuse. A pattern that now stands exposed for everyone to see.
And yet you dare whimper for “privacy”? Privacy for you — when for years you gave none to anyone. You stalked our families, smeared our reputations, called us criminals in front of our children, insulted us, and caused suffering to our parents who did you no wrong.

I will be placing placards at the Great Siege Monument, the same place you hijacked for your fake crusade, to show the public exactly who you are: a coward who beats his wife while preaching about rule of law and human rights.
You wanted a stage, Robert? Now you have one, and your alleged crimes will be written in big bold letters where everyone can read them. Just like Daphne Caruana Galizia, your hero — both of you cut from the same cloth: experts at destroying families while posing as saints for the cameras.
You begged the public for sympathy. You will find none here. We will never forgive you for the psychological wounds you inflicted on our loved ones, our children and our elderly parents with your vile accusations and your relentless hate.
You taught us well how to fight back – and rest assured, we will.
