Delia’s Camp Accuses Alex Borg of Using Housing Authority Link for Favouritism

Edward Mizzi’s Scandalous Appointment at Housing Authority Now at the Centre of PN’s Internal War

The Nationalist Party’s leadership contest is descending into a political bloodbath, and the latest twist is as damning as it is disturbing.

This site is reliably informed that Adrian Delia, fuming over what he views as a betrayal by Alex Borg, has begun exposing what he claims are serious ethical violations by his opponent. According to sources within Delia’s own core team, the former PN leader is now pointing fingers directly at a name many PN insiders hoped would remain buried: Edward Mizzi.

Mizzi, who in 2018 positioned himself as a righteous crusader against Joseph Muscat and the Labour Government,  delivering fiery tirades and ultra-partisan condemnations, has quietly taken up a Senior Manager post at the Housing Authority, an entity under Labour’s direct control.

This scandalous appointment, already raising eyebrows, now takes a darker turn.

Delia’s camp alleges that Mizzi is actively assisting Alex Borg in cultivating political support by facilitating social housing cases — essentially weaponising state resources to help a PN leadership candidate build his base. If proven true, this amounts to nothing short of political patronage at the expense of the vulnerable.

Let that sink in: a former PN hardliner now embedded inside a Labour Government -controlled institution, allegedly using his position to tip the scales of a PN internal election.

How was Edward Mizzi even appointed to such a post? Who signed off on this decision to entrust a partisan firebrand with influence over social housing allocations? And why has there been total silence from the Opposition benches over the ethical collapse this represents?

The PN has long accused Labour of corrupting institutions. But what’s being revealed now is a mirror image of that same rot — only this time, the abuse may be coming from within. This isn’t just an internal feud; it’s an indictment of the total moral breakdown inside the Nationalist Party.

Instead of policy and vision, the PN is now battling over favours and inside men. And Edward Mizzi — the self-righteous nationalist turned government appointee — may well become the symbol of how deep this betrayal runs.

Adrian Delia is wounded. Alex Borg is ambitious. But the real victim here is what little remains of the PN’s integrity.
