Nationalist Party: Copying Zelensky’s Gag Orders

PN’s ‘New Way’: Silence, Censorship, and Control

The Nationalist Party has just confirmed what many suspected: its so-called “New Way” is nothing but a rebranded form of censorship and authoritarian control.

Leadership candidates Adrian Delia and Alex Borg have been barred from debating each other. In 2025, PN delegates and supporters are apparently too fragile to watch their potential leaders exchange views. Under these new electoral rules, prospective candidates are not allowed to participate in any debates against one another.

Interviews with independent media? Allowed only if the PN’s electoral commission gives its blessing. Interviews on party-owned media? Completely prohibited – except for the PN’s media arm, of course, which remains above its own gag orders.

This is the Nationalist Party’s vision for the future: a regime of silence and fear, where candidates are banned from even complimenting each other, let alone challenging each other.

The situation eerily resembles the Zelensky regime in Ukraine, where dissent is crushed and media is muzzled. The PN might as well be taking notes from Kyiv: control the narrative, block real debate, and call it “democracy.”

If this is what PN calls “renewal” and “openness,” God help anyone who still believes this party can ever be trusted with power again.
