Don’t Be Fooled – The PN Establishment Is Stronger Than Ever

Don’t be fooled by the latest narrative coming out of the Nationalist Party. They want you to believe that their establishment is weak, fractured, and losing control. They want to portray themselves as a party undergoing a democratic transformation, ready to embrace change and open to new leadership.

But this is nothing more than a calculated illusion.

The PN establishment is not weak. It is stronger, more united, and more ruthless than ever before. This narrative of “division” is their latest political strategy to neutralise criticism and win sympathy from supporters tired of decades of control by the same inner clique.

They want you to think:

“Look, the old guard is losing its grip. Change is coming. The party is listening. The establishment is finished.”

But behind closed doors, the reality is the complete opposite.

The same entrenched powerbrokers – the Fenech Adami dynasty, their loyal enforcers like Austin Gatt, and the inner circles built over generations – remain in absolute control. Leadership contests, tears, and public spats are just staged theatrics to make the party appear open and democratic.

Here is the truth:

– The establishment wants people to believe it is fractured, because that creates hope for reform – without ever giving up real power.

–  They deploy this narrative to silence those calling for genuine structural change, telling them: “Be patient, the old guard is fading.”

– Meanwhile, the same people remain in charge, directing strategy, approving candidates, and ensuring their networks stay untouched.

Today, the PN is more of a political dynasty protecting its fiefdom than a democratic party renewing itself. The surname at the top may change, but the hands pulling the strings never do. The pretence of a weak establishment is a strategy to distract supporters from the fact that real reform is impossible under their rule.

Their message is simple: “Don’t attack us. Change is coming. The establishment is losing control.” But their actions prove otherwise. With Austin Gatt’s return and Beppe Fenech Adami’s unbreakable grip, they are tightening control further – not loosening it.

This is the Nationalist Party’s greatest deception: convincing its own people that it is evolving, while remaining exactly the same.
