Greece is taking drastic measures to protect its borders.
The Greek Government has announced it will suspend all asylum applications and arrest anyone attempting to enter the country illegally from North Africa.
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis declared firmly:
“The path to Greece is closed.”
This move signals a zero-tolerance stance towards illegal migration as Greece tightens its border controls against rising arrivals.
