A candidate who lies just to remain in voters’ good graces is not a leader. He is a cheap, immature opportunist with no moral core, no compass, and no vision beyond his own ego. His words are empty, his promises worthless.
Such politicians think deception is strength. They believe voters are fools to be manipulated, not citizens to be served. But leadership built on lies is leadership built on sand. The moment the illusions crack, everything collapses – exposing the shallow, spineless figure beneath.
If a politician is willing to lie just to win an election, imagine what he is willing to do with power. Malta deserves leaders with integrity, not desperate actors clinging to popularity through deceit.
