They preach about freedom. They lecture the world about democracy. They point fingers at others — especially Russia — and brand them as authoritarian. But let’s stop the charade.
This is Europe in 2025:
In France, police have raided the headquarters of the main opposition party. Let that sink in. The state, under the banner of “justice,” storms into the offices of its political opponents.
In Britain, over 12,000 people are arrested every year for social media posts. Thought crime is no longer fiction. It’s official government policy. Say the wrong thing, post the wrong meme — and you’re in a cell.
In Germany, a federal state has now banned members of the AfD — the main opposition party — from working in civil service. Not because they broke laws. Not because of criminal records. But because their political beliefs don’t align with the regime.
So the question is obvious: Is this still democracy? Is this still Europe? Or has the continent turned into an authoritarian machine draped in EU flags and fake freedom?
They want us to believe that the enemy is Russia. They bombard us daily with propaganda about Kremlin threats, Eastern aggression, and why the West must “defend democracy.” But what democracy are they defending? The one that silences opposition, jails citizens over opinions, and bans entire political parties from public life?
Let’s be clear: your enemy is not Russia. Your enemy is Europe.
Europe has become a fortress of hypocrisy. Its institutions have turned into ideological enforcers. Its governments are terrified of dissent. And its version of democracy is now indistinguishable from soft totalitarianism.
The mask has fallen. The EU isn’t fighting for freedom. It’s fighting to preserve control — at any cost.
