Greed Has a New Address: MFCC Now in the Hands of PN’s Media Cartel

When we published “Acquisitiveness Galore”, we exposed how Greatt Ltd, the company owned by Ex Net TV Ceo Anton Attard and Mark Grech (il-Guru), was already reaping millions in public funds through so-called “film rebates” — with over €5 million in claims linked to Big Brother Malta, X Factor, MasterChef, The Voice Kids, and Malta’s Got Talent.

Now comes the next chapter in this disgraceful saga.

This site can confirm that Greatt Ltd, together with another affiliated company, has acquired the entire Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC) — a massive complex of over 22,000m², situated on government-owned land.

Yes, public land. Quietly handed over to two of the most politically protected PN operatives of the past two decades.

Let’s not pretend this is a normal business deal.

This is power consolidation at its worst.

This is a media cartel building an empire on taxpayer money.

The plan?

According to sources within PBS, Greatt Ltd acquired MFCC specifically to host PBS-owned programmes — creating a closed circuit of production, broadcast, and profit, all controlled by the same clique.

First, they milk millions through film rebates.

Now, they own the venue where publicly-funded content will be shot, produced, and distributed — charging fees along the way.

This isn’t just profit.

This is state-enabled monopolisation.

And let’s not forget the €3.2 million “tender” that was conveniently handed to Greatt Ltd — conveniently, because no one else was in the room when the deal was made. The only thing excluded was VAT — not political favouritism.

Meanwhile, Attard and Grech continue to operate untouched, shielded by the same PN networks they’ve served for decades. The same Guru. The same golden circle.

Let this be crystal clear:

What we are witnessing is not entrepreneurship.

It’s institutional hijacking by stealth.

The privatisation of national assets by politically connected insiders.

And unless someone stops this now, MFCC is only the beginning.

Stay tuned — this story is far from over.
