Two things are immediately clear. First, Alex Borg is desperately recycling tired faces like Fenech Adami, Bezzina, and Callus—the same old guard that brought the PN to ruin. Second, even these individuals do not trust Borg enough to accept his assignments without protest. Adrian Delia and Graham Bencini have already resisted his proposals, leaving Borg exposed and humiliated.
The problem is not just the names—it’s the man proposing them. Alex Borg’s weakness has become glaring. Leadership is about decisiveness, conviction, and the ability to rally people behind you. Instead, the Nationalist Party has a leader who stalls, hesitates, and bends under pressure.
