Adrian Delia’s Finances: Another Blunder by Alex Borg

The latest blunder by the new PN leader Alex Borg is nothing short of laughable. Out of all possible choices, he decided to appoint Adrian Delia as Shadow Minister of Finance.

But before Adrian Delia dares to open his mouth about the country’s finances, perhaps he should first explain his own.

Because the truth is simple: Adrian Delia has an outstanding electricity bill of more than €7,000 on his Siġġiewi residence.

Let’s be clear: if an ordinary citizen had an unpaid bill of €7,000, the electricity service would have been cut off immediately. No excuses. No privileges. Yet Adrian Delia—who is supposed to be the Opposition’s face for financial credibility—has been allowed to drag his personal finances into the gutter while still pretending to be the authority on national finances.

This is the state of Alex Borg’s leadership. Appointing someone with unpaid debts, unpaid bills, and zero credibility as the PN’s financial spokesperson.

Alex Borg, instead of showing strength, keeps crushing the Nationalist Party under his own incompetence.

Adrian Delia is not fit to speak about Malta’s economy. He is barely fit to balance his own books.
