Selective outrage and hypocrisy from Malta’s loudest “women’s rights” voice

This site commented on what was reported on Friday — that the Malta Women’s Lobby (MWL), led by lawyer Lara Dimitrijevic, harshly criticized the national station for, in their words, “failing in its editorial responsibility” for giving a platform to Mr. Ricky Caruana.
We will be very clear: Lara Dimitrijevic’s feminism only exists when it suits her agenda.
When Labour MP Rosianne Cutajar had her private chats illegally published — while she was pregnant — where was Lara Dimitrijevic?
The Malta Women’s Lobby?
Where was their outrage, their press release, their supposed “defense of women’s dignity”?
Nowhere.
Not a single word. Not even a symbolic show of empathy.

When Silence Becomes Complicity
Lara Dimitrijevic and her clique of “activists” love to lecture everyone about women’s rights, but when it came to defending a woman from within the Labour movement, they turned their backs.
They never condemned the psychological terrorist Mark Camilleri, who gleefully published Rosianne’s private messages for the sole purpose of humiliation — and who, as this site exposed, was rewarded with a €25,000 government contract for doing nothing.

Mark Camilleri
Where was Lara Dimitrijevic then?
Did she speak about psychological violence? About the right of a woman to privacy?
No. Because for her, Rosianne was the wrong kind of woman.
A Labour woman. A woman who dared to rise.
And for these so-called feminists, that’s unforgivable.
Selective Feminism Is Not Justice
Let’s be honest — what Lara Dimitrijevic practices isn’t feminism.
It’s elitist activism dressed in the language of equality.
She fights not for women, but for attention, for applause, and for whatever headline feeds her ego.
Real feminism means standing for every woman — not only those who agree with you politically, not only those who belong to your circle of privilege, and not only when it’s convenient.
When a woman is humiliated in public, when her private life is dragged into the spotlight without consent — you speak up, or you’re complicit.

Rosianne Cutajar
Labour Never Forgets
We Labour Party supporters remember how Rosianne Cutajar was insulted, mocked, and dehumanized.
We will never forget — and never forgive — the silence of Lara Dimitrijevic and her so-called Malta Women’s Lobby.
Their hypocrisy stands exposed.
Their selective outrage discredits the very movement they claim to represent.
Because when feminism becomes a tool for political bias, it ceases to be about women — and becomes about power, money, and manipulation.
