Arnold Cassola has once again chosen his next victim.
This time, his obsession has turned towards Kurt Farrugia, the Chief Executive Officer of Transport Malta — a man whose reputation is built on professionalism, humility, and respect for those around him.

Kurt Farrugia
On social media, Cassola wrote:
“Transport Malta is headed by the Joseph Muscat and PL bootlicker, Kurt Farrugia. When the country is put in the hands of such party bootlickers… democracy loses.”
What a miserable and pathetic statement.

Arnold Cassola
From Political Relevance to Online Bitterness
Cassola’s career has become a sad case study of political frustration turned into personal attacks. Having been rejected by the people time and time again, he has resorted to the only thing that keeps him in the headlines — throwing insults at others who actually contribute to this country.
Let’s be clear: Kurt Farrugia is not a political stooge.
He’s a professional manager who has proven himself in every role he has occupied — from communications to administration. He’s known for his calm character, his decency, and his genuine care for the people who work with him.
Unlike Cassola, Kurt doesn’t thrive on anger or division.
He works — quietly, consistently, and with integrity.
Cassola’s Double Standards
Arnold Cassola preaches democracy, but his version of “democracy” is one where only he and his circle can speak, lead, or be right.
If you’ve ever had any link to the Labour Party, you’re immediately labelled a “bootlicker.”
That’s not democracy — that’s arrogance and intolerance disguised as moral superiority.
Where was Cassola’s outrage when PN-aligned appointees were parachuted into top positions under previous administrations?
Where was his “defence of democracy” then?
He picks his targets carefully: Labourites, professionals, people doing their job.
Because in Cassola’s world, anyone with roots in Labour must be destroyed publicly.

Kurt Farrugia
A Man of Service, Not Slogans
Kurt Farrugia doesn’t need to defend himself against Cassola’s childish insults.
His record speaks for itself — a man of service, not slogans.
Someone who worked his way up, who earned respect through conduct, not through shouting matches on Facebook.
Arnold Cassola may think he’s scoring political points with his daily outbursts, but all he’s doing is proving one thing:
He has lost touch with the country, and with reality.
