Celebration Is Not Enough When Values Are Under Attack

Ambassador Somers Farkas, welcome to Malta. Your meeting with Archbishop Charles Scicluna and recognition of the Archdiocese of Malta’s social work is highly appreciated.

Scicluna’s bishopric legacy will be restored Church facades, silver art facts, paintings, thanks to Labour Governments who secure European Union granting funds. Bestowing Ecclesiastical Honorary Titles to local Parishes and priests where three quarters of local Maltese PRESBYTRIUM are either Canons or Monsignors, buying their silence but worsens reality as local Maltese Clergy laments.

Mistrust him behind his back indoors and lastly will leave his biggest spiritual legacy. The unique Maltese Archbishop managed to empty tal-Virtù seminary which is void of Priestly vocations, the lower ever since its foundation in 1703!

Also, one cannot celebrate Christian values in Malta while ignoring their deliberate dismantling by gender ideology, abortion activism, LGBT political dogma, and militant secular liberalism imposed through cultural pressure.

What damaged American families under Biden’s ultra-liberal Democrat Administration is now being aggressively replicated in Malta at the direct expense of family values.

Values that once unified our society: faith, family, and respect for life, are being systematically marginalised.

If shared values truly unite us, then defending these foundations against ideological extremism should be part of that dialogue. Malta’s Catholic community does not merely need celebration. It needs understanding, respect, and protection.
