Complaints against Judge Grima have piled up. In her courtroom, social workers’ reports are treated as undisputed gospel, especially when they hammer the father. The judge swallows them whole, no questions asked, while any evidence or testimony from the male party is ignored or dismissed.

Applications filed by fathers? They rot for months, with constant delays before any decree is issued. Worse, in countless cases the Judge issues no notification at all, leaving the father’s application to gather dust indefinitely.
Flip the gender and the story changes instantly: women’s applications are rubber-stamped, frequently without even notifying the other side. Ex parte rulings against fathers have become routine.
Maintenance decrees handed down by Judge Grima are routinely excessive and wildly disproportionate. Lawyers appearing for male parties leave her courtroom demoralised and furious, their every request rejected, their every argument stonewalled.
Throughout proceedings that drag on for years, the voices of the minor children are completely ignored. Their wishes, their wellbeing, their right to a relationship with both parents, all erased.
The pattern is crystal clear: total indifference to anything filed by the male party, while female applications are fast-tracked and granted. Once those pro-mother decrees are issued, they are locked in stone for the entire multi-year case. The father is trapped in an unchangeable nightmare, often one that is actively harmful to the children’s best interests.

The February 2026 Family Court reforms, new building, timelines, mediation, child-focused justice, will be completely worthless if Judge Jacqueline Padovani Grima is allowed to remain on the Family Court bench. All the glossy announcements, all the taxpayer money, all the promises of fairness are pure theatre while this judge continues her daily sabotage.
