It is absolutely outrageous that Harbinson has now come forward to claim that his preliminary report should never have been used to prosecute individuals. This is a complete betrayal of trust and a gross miscarriage of justice.
In his Affidavit, Harbinson clearly stated, “I understand that following the conclusion of the Inquiry, criminal charges and freezing orders were issued. Our report made no mention of criminal charges or freezing orders, and I had no input into these.” This admission is not only shocking but also deeply concerning. How could such a crucial report, which was meant to serve as a foundation for the prosecution, be so carelessly disregarded?
As a result of Harbinson’s statement, it is evident that the court case must now collapse. How can justice be served when the main witness himself is disavowing the very report that was used to prosecute individuals? This is a grave injustice that cannot be allowed to stand.
