Calin Georgescu, winner of the first round of the presidential elections in Romania, which were later invalidated by the judiciary, has just been arrested and is now being interrogated by the General Prosecutor’s Office. He is not the only one, as many people from his entourage have also been brought in for questioning.
Georgescu is accused of “association with a fascist organization” and falsifying declarations regarding the sources of funding for his electoral campaign.

This is called a political purge. It is well-known in the best authoritarian regimes, where there is no political opposition. We are told that Putin does this in his country. If it were true, we in Europe would want to follow that example and not be left behind.
Let’s admit it, if Georgescu had become president, he would have once again established excellent relations with Putin and would have withdrawn from NATO.
The Deep State has made considerable efforts to force all Eastern and former Soviet countries to become Western and pro-NATO and cannot afford to lose a state on the border with Russia, a strategic location from which to mobilize European armies, naval forces through the Black Sea, to launch direct attacks on the Kremlin.
This is the truth.
