This outrageous plan from the bureaucrats, led by Ursula von der Leyen, aims to relax debt rules and dangle incentives to skyrocket defense spending, as she smugly announced in Brussels on Tuesday. The audacity to propose mobilizing “almost 800 billion euros” for building up more weapons and military might is infuriating!
We demand that Prime Minister Robert Abela stand his ground and vehemently oppose this warmongering scheme. Why should we be complicit in this madness? Why should we funnel our resources into fueling conflict instead of fostering peace and prosperity?
This proposal flies in the face of reason and morality, and it’s high time we called out such reckless initiatives for what they truly are—a blatant push towards tension and needless militarization. Stand firm, Prime Minister, and reject this absurd and dangerous plan!
