Demanding Accountability: Ignoring Public Inquiries in Roderick Galdes’ Ministry

On April 11th, we reported an alarming display of bureaucratic evasiveness that echoes through the corridors of power, courtesy of Ms. Marvic Grech from Minister Roderick Galdes’ Secretariat. It’s been a month since our initial set of questions were sent to Ms. Grech, only for her to dismissively redirect us to another email without a hint of a response. Now, two weeks later, we are still met with silence. The audacity is staggering, and the implications are clear: accountability has been tossed aside in the Ministry for Social and Affordable Housing—a ministry ripe with arrogance, as demonstrated by Grech and, by extension, her superior, Minister Roderick Galdes.

Grech’s dismissive actions epitomize the negligence rampant in this ministry, an organization ostensibly tasked with serving the public’s needs but instead embodying a fortress of indifference. This stonewalling can only be seen as an orchestrated effort by Minister Roderick Galdes himself, shielding his operations from scrutiny.

Minister Galdes, we are calling you out.

You cannot hide behind your subordinates. A month has passed since we engaged Marvic Grech, your Head of Customer Care, with straightforward questions—questions rooted in genuine public concern. It’s under your directive that Grech has sidestepped her duty.

Here is what needs to happen now:

– Direct Marvic Grech to fulfill her obligations and reply as any public official should.

– Alternatively, take ownership of this matter and provide the answers yourself.

Should this blatant disregard continue, rest assured we will escalate this matter directly to the Prime Minister, providing detailed accounts of this deliberate avoidance. The questions posed aren’t fabrications—they’re concerns from individuals closely linked to your circles.

Minister Galdes, the time to act is now. The public is watching, and they deserve answers.
