Beppe Fenech Adami – the de facto leader of the Nationalist Party – has posted a photo on social media that perfectly sums up the PN’s pathetic reality.

In the photo, Beppe stands proudly next to Austin Gatt, arguably the most arrogant minister Malta has ever had, and Victor Scerri, the former PN General Secretary. This is the same Austin Gatt whose arrogance and disastrous decisions helped bury the Nationalist Party in the rubble of its own failures. The same Austin Gatt who was behind election campaigns that alienated the people and humiliated the PN at the polls.

And now, here they are again. Smiling. Celebrating. As if Malta wants them back.
This photo is not nostalgia. It is a threat. A threat that the Nationalist Party is returning to its darkest days – days of arrogance, contempt, and betrayal of the people’s trust. The days when a handful of power-hungry men treated Malta like their personal kingdom, only to be obliterated by the strongest political machine this country has ever seen – the Labour movement.
If anyone had hope that the PN was changing, this photo has killed it. Beppe Fenech Adami is dragging the party back to the same old losers who destroyed it in the first place. The same men who thought they owned the country, only to be wiped out by a Labour machine that understands the people, works for the people, and delivers for the people.
The PN is not moving forward. It is rotting backwards.
