If You Need Your Ex’s Signature to Sign a Contract — You’re Not Ready to Lead

Adrian Delia’s private life is his own — until it directly affects his public responsibilities. And in this case, it does. Big time.

While we frankly couldn’t care less who Delia sleeps with, we do care about his debts, his financial exposure, and whether he is still legally bound to Nickie Vella de Fremaux, the woman he’s been separating from since before his disastrous term as PN leader even began.

This is not about gossip.

This is about due diligence — and the serious vulnerabilities Delia brings with him if allowed to crawl back into the party’s top seat.

Still Married, Still Exposed

Here’s what the Nationalist Party faithful need to understand:

  • Delia’s separation case is still ongoing. That means his legal status is still “married.”

  • This matters for contracts, declarations, and any serious political vetting.

  • Depending on the current terms, he may still require Nickie’s signature to execute certain legal decisions or asset declarations.

What does that mean for a potential PN leader?

It means he’s not free. Not politically, not financially, and not personally.

Held Hostage by His Own Life

Adrian Delia is still dancing in the middle of a legal and financial separation saga. That’s not opinion — that’s legal reality.

And that’s not leadership — that’s liability.

How can Delia possibly stand before the party and promise strength, clarity, and transparency when he himself is still embroiled in a legal mess that undermines his credibility at every turn?

Due Diligence or Deliberate Blindness?

The Nationalist Party has promised a robust due diligence process for anyone contesting the leadership.

If that’s true, then Delia must be scrutinised. Fully. Relentlessly.

His financial situation, his legal vulnerabilities, and his dependence on an estranged spouse must be laid bare before a single vote is cast.

Because what Peppi Azzopardi and Georg Sapiano want the PN to ignore — the rest of us won’t.

Members Deserve to Know

Delia may be Peppi’s pet project.

But the Nationalist Party is not a circus. Or at least, it shouldn’t be.

Members deserve to know exactly what Delia is hiding behind his false confidence and recycled slogans.

And if he can’t even clean up his own life, how dare he ask to lead a party — let alone a country?

Due diligence means facing the facts. Adrian Delia is still legally trapped, politically compromised, and dangerously unfit.

The question now is: will the PN ignore it again?
