While They Burn, Labour Builds: The PN’s Civil War is Labour’s Greatest Gift

The Opposition is tearing itself apart. Labour is united, focused — and preparing for the final blow.

Partit Nazzjonalista

Let them burn.

While the Nationalist Party descends into its most vicious civil war in decades, the Labour Party stands united, organised, and firmly in control of the country’s future. This is no longer just a political crisis within the PN — it’s a bloodbath. And it comes at the perfect time.

With Bernard Grech out of the way, the fragile truce that once held the PN together has collapsed. Factions are sharpening their knives. Delia’s camp wants revenge. Metsola is playing queenmaker from Brussels. Alex Borg is hunting for a power grab. And the Caruana Galizia clique is throwing public tantrums as their grip on the party dies in slow motion.

This is not a renewal. This is a destruction.

Labour: Stronger, Smarter, Ready

While the PN elite devour each other, Labour is doing what strong governments do: preparing, building, governing.

From planning reform to social policy, from energy strategy to housing development, the Labour Government is advancing with purpose. It has no time for political drama — and no tolerance for ego-fuelled implosions like we’re seeing in Pietà.

The Labour movement is once again united, organised, and election-ready.

When the time comes, we will be prepared. They will be bleeding.

A Civil War With No Winners — Except Labour

The PN’s civil war has no end in sight. The Caruana Galizia family is lashing out at former allies. Roberta Metsola is being accused of betrayal. Adrian Delia’s return is fuelling panic. And every leadership hopeful is quietly plotting against the others.

It’s a free-for-all — and it’s only just begun.

The once-feared “Establishment” is now cannibalising itself. The era of fear is over, and with it, the only thing holding the PN together: the myth of unity.

Let them kill each other politically. Let the factions go to war. Let Bidnija burn.

Labour Leads While PN Bleeds

The future belongs to those who lead — not those who self-destruct. And right now, Labour is the only political force in Malta with vision, stability, and unity.

The PN will spend the next months fighting each other. Labour will spend those same months delivering results, earning trust, and preparing for the next general election.

And when that day comes, it won’t just be another Labour victory.

It will be the final blow that ends the Nationalist Party for good.

The photo of hypocrisy, deceit and shady political power struggle.

A memento of the Abela’s legacy to have taken over in a way of another after multiple times.

    3. Joseph Muscat

I admire the patience from the Abela camp..

George a charismatic and intelligent person whom I admire had the way to influence a nation positively through the MFA.

Then he was the lawyer for the GWU rebels.

Then he placed his daughter in law in the executive and her elder sister employed in his Presidency and their minor sister engaged in GEM.

George won a lucrative contract under Gonzi and a Presidency.

Tried to undermine the PL in 1998 and tried again to take over but Joseph got the upper hand.

Then his son and his sister-in-law control not just the PL but the central and local governments.
