My Return Terrifies Them — And That’s Exactly Why I’m Here

The PN fears loyalty, conviction, and results.

Partit Nazzjonalista

The Nationalist Party’s statement on my return to Government exposes once again a tired Opposition that has lost all direction, all credibility, and all connection with the people.

To describe my appointment as proof of a “fascist takeover” is not only laughable — it is offensive to history and to the intelligence of the Maltese people. This is the same PN that spent decades suffocating Malta with elitism, corruption of its own, and a politics of exclusion. And now, with nothing left to offer, they resort to recycled insults and cheap name-calling.

Gratitude to the Prime Minister

Unlike the PN, I believe in loyalty, gratitude, and service. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Prime Minister Robert Abela for the trust he has once again shown in me. It is thanks to his leadership that I am back within the Government’s structures, and I am proud to contribute towards the work of this administration.

Robert Abela

My decision to return is rooted in this renewed sense of purpose. Robert Abela has shown Malta what leadership really means: a Government that listens, adapts, and delivers. Under his guidance, Labour has continued to strengthen its bond with the people, defending families from international shocks and safeguarding stability at home.

Labour Is a Movement, Not Just a Party

The Nationalist Party and its ever-growing list of bitter satellites will never grasp the most fundamental truth about Labour:

Labour is not just a political party — it is a movement.

A movement built on loyalty, conviction, and service to the people.

Values the PN abandoned long ago in favour of personal agendas, media stunts, and hollow rhetoric.

The PN simply cannot comprehend why the Labour family remains united and strong, even after years of relentless attacks. They cannot understand that while they fight amongst themselves, Labour continues to govern, to deliver, and to grow.

They Can’t Stand That I’m Back

Let’s be clear — the Nationalist Party can’t stand the fact that I’m back assisting Labour directly on the ground.

They know what it means. They’ve seen it before.

I have never — and will never — turn down the opportunity to help Labour. I’ve worked under different administrations, in good times and in storms, always with one goal: to keep Labour strong and close to the people.

The PN and their acolytes know that the experience I bring to the table isn’t theory — it’s tested, proven, and powerful. They know that with the right strategy, Labour can — and will — secure massive electoral victories, in Malta and in Gozo.

And that terrifies them.

The Nationalist Party can hurl whatever insults it wants — it will change nothing. Labour under Robert Abela will keep moving forward, protecting families, delivering progress, and preparing Malta for the future.

And I will proudly play my part in that journey.
