Do you remember the uproar when Sandro Chetcuti once said, “make hay while the sun shines”? The Nationalists acted as if the world had ended. Yet today, thanks to none other than Sabrina Cabourdin, we can see that proverb in full colour – Maltese style: “għamel it-tiben waqt li x-xemx tiddi.”
Because under Labour, the sun rose for everyone – not just for the four chosen contractors on the JS list, but for all those who knew how to work hard and take opportunities.
And here’s the irony: even Nationalists like Sabrina Cabourdin and her husband enjoyed the good years. They too “made hay” while others kept spitting venom at Labour. They too reaped benefits, lived well, and thrived – while pretending to stand above it all.
Now, the same Sabrina Cabourdin is being packaged as the face of PN renewal. But the truth is simpler: she is living proof that under Labour, everyone – red or blue – prospered.
So from this day forward, let’s call her by her rightful title:
Mrs. Make Hay While the Sun Shines.
Because that is exactly what she and her husband did – and no amount of PN theatrics can erase it.

Exactly how did she increased her net worth under the PL government?
Are you too embarrassed to illustrate?
