He Calls Abela ‘Right-Wing’ While Supporting a War-Hungry Regime
Writing on social media, Sandro Mangion — self-styled moral guardian of the left — said he was “shocked” to hear Prime Minister Robert Abela invoke the fear of foreigners cancelling feasts to justify his opposition to the PN’s constitutional proposal.
He even went as far as to say that the Prime Minister should be surrounded by “socialist and democratic people” instead of those “on the right.”
But here lies the hypocrisy of Sandro Mangion.
This same man who lectures about “democracy” and “socialism” openly supports the Nazi regime in Kyiv, proudly displaying the Ukrainian flag on his social media as a badge of moral superiority.
Supporting Zelensky’s regime means supporting:
- The persecution of the Orthodox Church,
- The oppression of Russian-speaking citizens,
- The silencing of journalists, and
- The genocide of Ukrainian men sent like cannon fodder to die on the battlefield against the largest army in the world.
This is the regime that has cancelled elections, denied its citizens their fundamental right to vote, and imprisoned opposition figures — all while being glorified by hypocrites like Mangion as a “defender of democracy.”

So before Sandro Mangion accuses Robert Abela of xenophobia or lectures anyone about democratic values, he should look in the mirror.
Because supporting a war-hungry Nazi regime that suppresses religion, speech, and basic human rights is the exact opposite of socialism, democracy, or human decency.
Sandro Mangion is not shocked by injustice — he’s shocked when someone refuses to repeat his Western propaganda.
