THE €400 MILLION FAIRYTALE FALLS APART!

Adrian Delia’s Big Lie Exposed – No €400 Million Stolen, PN’s Scam Collapses!

For years, the Nationalist Party representatives screamed from every rooftop: “€400 million stolen from taxpayers!” They threw the number around like confetti — in Parliament, in press conferences, on every TV show that would have them.

But today, reality has caught up with the fantasy. The so-called “€400 million theft” has been exposed for what it really was — a political hoax, a desperate stunt by a wannabe leader looking for attention.

THE GRAND CLAIM THAT CRUMBLED

Delia built his whole political comeback on one slogan: “They stole €400 million!” He repeated it so many times, he must have started believing it himself. He even posed as Malta’s “anti-corruption hero”, waving court papers and promising “justice for the people”.

But the facts now say otherwise. Today’s decision by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) throws Delia’s fantasy in the rubbish.

THE ICC VERDICT: GOVERNMENT VINDICATED

The ICC tribunal has now ruled in the international arbitration between Malta and Steward Healthcare. And here’s the knockout punch:

Steward’s €148 million claim for damages? Rejected.

Damages to either party? None.

Malta’s benefits under the concession? €889,434,091 for fair value of services received.

Steward’s benefits? €884,644,629.

The difference? €4.78 million owed to Steward.

That’s it. No €400 million missing, no €400 million “stolen”.

The Government’s primary defence was upheld. The tribunal found no fraud, no missing millions, no grand theft. In short, the whole PN narrative just collapsed under the weight of cold, hard facts.

DELIA’S POLITICAL THEATRE EXPOSED

What does this mean? It means that Delia’s shouting matches and moral-high-ground speeches were nothing more than political theatre.

He wanted to be seen as the crusader — the “people’s lawyer” — but he’s ended up as the politician who cried theft. The €400 million he swore was “stolen” turns out to be nothing more than a number plucked out of thin air, used to whip up outrage and chase headlines.

Let’s be real — the man was never fighting corruption; he was fighting for relevance.

THE PN FRAUD: WHEN POLITICS BECOMES A SCAM

The real fraud wasn’t in the hospitals contract — it was in the Partit Nazzjonalista’s campaign of deception. They sold the Maltese people a story that didn’t exist. They pretended there was a missing €400 million, when the truth was staring them in the face: the Government got value for what it paid.

Even the ICC tribunal recognised that Malta received fair value under the concession. The PN didn’t care. Facts didn’t matter — only slogans did.

So who really tried to fool the taxpayer? The so-called defenders of the taxpayer themselves.

LABOUR GOVERNMENT: CLEARED AND CONFIRMED

This decision vindicates the Government’s handling of the case from start to finish. The national interest was protected by the former and current Prime Ministers, Ministers and Public Officers. Public resources were accounted for, and the country avoided paying a cent in damages.

In plain Maltese: the Government stood its ground — and won.

Meanwhile, the Opposition stands exposed — again — as a party built on spin, exaggeration, and empty drama.
