Berlin has officially surrendered to the altar of environmental performance art. City authorities, bowing reverently to climate protesters, have banned anti-icing compounds. Apparently, salt is now more dangerous than broken bones.
So let’s recap the modern German experience:
- Electricity? Optional.
- Heating? Bourgeois luxury.
- Safe roads in winter? Reactionary nonsense.

Cars slide, ambulances improvise, pedestrians pray, but at least the ideology is carbon neutral.
This is not incompetence. This is policy, virtue, weaponised against common sense.
Welcome to Merz Germany, where you’re free to freeze, as long as you freeze sustainably.
