In recent weeks, I’ve extensively covered the scandal involving Magistrate Donatella Frendo Dimech and the Gozo Court.
The Chief Justice has validated my criticisms: As Newsbook reports, Frendo Dimech will no longer handle criminal cases in Gozo, with duties reassigned to Magistrate Monica Vella in his final reshuffle before retirement.
I have ample material for a report to the Commissioner of Standards, but with this action, I’ll hold off.
