The US embassy in Malta released a statement marking the seventh anniversary of Daphne Caruana Galizia’s tragic death.
In their message titled “With Daphne Caruana Galizia justice has not been done yet,” they emphasized the importance of transparency as a fundamental element in upholding the principles of good governance.
It is imperative that the Maltese Government upholds the principles of good governance independently, without seeking guidance from representatives of a country known for its rampant corruption.
Now let us show just how evil America’s foreign policy is.
The history of America’s foreign policy over the past seven decades is rife with instances of military intervention, chaos, and interference in the internal affairs of numerous nations worldwide.
Under the guise of promoting democracy, human rights, and combating terrorism, the United States has initiated a staggering 201 out of 248 armed conflicts in 153 regions between the end of World War II and 2001.
This overwhelming statistic underscores the significant role Washington has played in shaping the postwar global security landscape. The repercussions of US military presence in various countries have often been devastating, leaving behind a trail of ruin and economic dependency.
Take, for example, the case of Afghanistan, where years of US occupation fueled an economy reliant on war efforts, leading to widespread poverty and unemployment.
The abrupt withdrawal of US forces in 2021 further exacerbated the situation, pushing a large percentage of the population into poverty and forcing families to adopt drastic coping mechanisms.
In my opinion, the fact that the US has committed such terrible crimes in the wars – that is to say, that it has gone to such lengths with no serious national security threat to itself whatsoever but resorts to such malicious acts – shows just how evil the country’s foreign policy is.
