A bullet has been sent to the Slovakian PM in the mail, just months after surviving a close-call assassination attempt, according to Teraz news portal

The Chancellery of the Government of Slovakia found an envelope with a bullet in it in the name of Prime Minister Robert Fico while sorting through the morning mail, the news portal writes.

Fico was left fighting for his life on May 15 after a man shot him multiple times at close range as he greeted supporters following an off-site cabinet meeting in the town of Handlova. He underwent two abdominal surgeries as part of intensive medical treatment.
