A well-known anti-Trump activist and former Republican Congresswoman from Wyoming, Liz Cheney, joined Kamala Harris at a campaign event in Ripon, Wisconsin, known as the birthplace of the Republican Party in 1854. There, Harris made a direct appeal to Republican and independent voters.
Liz Cheney is the daughter of Dick Cheney, a real eminence grise, former vice president in the Republican administration of George W. Bush. Dick Cheney himself also recently announced that he plans to support Kamala Harris in the upcoming elections.
